Ingredients

500 grams of salted and desalted cod
100 grams of water
a few strands of saffron
150 grams of cold beer
250 grams of pastry flour
olive oil
1 tablespoon of olive oil for the dough
1/2 teaspoon salt
canned bell pepper to serve

Preparation

put the water in the glass of the thermomix and heat

open the lid of the mixing bowl and add the saffron around the blades, close and mix

let infuse 10 minutes
strain and reserve cold, then put in the glass the saffron infusion, the flour, the beer, the salt, the tablespoon of oil and mix everything

while we dry the cod with absorbent paper, remove the skin and bones (we can also buy clean cod sticks)
cut it into sticks of 5 x 1, just before serving coat each cod stick in the mixture and fry in abundant oil
hot and in batches (I recommend a fryer or a deep saucepan) when they are golden, drain on absorbent paper
to serve decorate with a few strips of bell pepper
