Preparation of Guinness cake with thermomix
The recipe consists of 2 parts, on the one hand the black cake (for Guinness beer) and on the other hand the frosting or top cream that covers it
We will start by making cake
For them, we place our Thermomix bowl and add the cocoa, flour and sugar, together with the bicarbonate, the 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate and we will proceed to mix everything for what we programmed:
20 seconds on speed 4
Remove and reserve in a bowl
Without needing to clean the glass, put the black beer with the butter (it is important that the butter is not too cold, at room temperature it mixes better, so take it out of the fridge 1 hour before making the cake)
and mix:
4 minutes, 40ºC, speed 3
We now add the cream, the eggs and the vanilla and beat everything again so that all the foods continue to mix. we program:
40 seconds / speed 3
Immediately afterwards we will put our thermomix without time at speed 3 and we will pour the reserved mixture into the bowl very little by little, so that it mixes well, once well mixed we will give it an end point
10 seconds / speed 5
We put a mold greased with a little butter and lined with baking paper and pour the content of our thermomix and put in the oven
180ºC / 50 minutes
To make the frosting:
We start by making normal sugar, icing sugar, for which we put the sugar in the glass of our thermomix (this time clean and dry) and program:
30 seconds / progressive speed 4-9
Now we program speed 3 and through the nozzle of the thermomix we are adding the spreadable cheese, we leave it 10 seconds after adding everything and we reserve
We put the butterfly on the blades of our thermomix and pour the cream VERY VERY COLD EYE!! and we ride
speed 4 without time, but looking to stop when it is ready (if we left it for a long time it could turn into butter)
We put the cream in the bowl together with the cheese that we had reserved and mix it with a wooden spoon with encircling movements, when it is perfectly mixed we can pour it on top of our black cake
