🔸50 g of unsalted butter 🧈
🔸150 g of ground oats 🌾
🔸50 g of ground almond 🌰
🔸1 egg XL 🥚
🔸30 g of erythritol (or sugar to taste) 🍬
🔸6 g of chemical yeast
🔸Ceylon cinnamon to taste 🌿
🔸Anise from La Asturiana (or the one of your preference)
💡 Anise is the soul of the rosco: adjust the amount according to your taste, more powerful or softer.
In a large bowl, beat the butter with erythritol until obtaining a homogeneous cream.
Add the egg and a splash of aniseand mix well.
Incorporates the yeastthe ground almond and the ground oatsand knead until you obtain a uniform and manageable dough.
Divide the dough into small portions.
Shape meatball type ballsmake a hole in the center and mold until you obtain the classic donut shape.
Place them on the air fryer tray, leaving space between them so they cook evenly.
Set the oven type fryer to 180°C for 14 minutes.
Half time (last 4 minutes), turn the donuts so they brown evenly.
💡 Tip: the exact time depends on the thickness of your donuts; with 12 minutes It may be enough if they are thin.
Take them out and let them cool for a few minutes.
You can eat them as is or sprinkle them with erythritol glass (or powdered sugar) for a more traditional and attractive finish.
For a more intense aroma, mix a little cinnamon powder in the dough before cooking.
