Ingredients of Chicken with pineapple curry en papillote with Thermomix

  • 1,000 grams of chicken thighs
  • 500 grams of fresh pineapple
  • 2 teaspoons of curry powder
  • 40 grams of liquid caramel
  • 1½ teaspoons butter
  • 800 grams of water
  • 2 teaspoons of salt

Preparation of Chicken with pineapple curry en papillote with Thermomix

  1. To begin the preparation of this delicious recipe, you must pour the water into the Thermomix bowl and place the varoma container in position with a roasting bag inside.
  2. Inside the roasting bag, place the skinless chicken, boneless and chopped into pieces of about 3 cm, as well as add the caramel, salt and curry powder.
  3. Close the bag well, make sure that the content is extended and without air. Cover the varoma container and program.
  4. 20 minutes / Varoma temperature / Spoon speed.
  5. After the first 20 minutes, uncover the varoma container, being careful not to burn yourself, to turn the bag over. Cover again and program.
  6. 20 minutes / Varoma temperature / Spoon speed.
  7. While the chicken is finished cooking in the thermomix, in a hot skillet, melt the butter and pour the chopped pineapple into pieces, cook until golden brown.
  8. Back in the thermomix, remove the varoma container and, being careful not to burn yourself, pour the contents of the bag into the pan.
  9. Cook in a pan over high heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until the sauce is reduced by half.
