Ingredients of Mussels in leek and mustard sauce with thermomix
- 500 grams of mussels
- 200 grams of leeks chopped into pieces (the white part and a little of the green)
- 25 grams of mustard
- 100 grams of dry white wine
- 50 grams of extra virgin olive oil
- juice of one lemon
- 1 cup of water
- Chopped parsley
- Salt and ground white pepper
Preparation of mussels in leek and mustard sauce with thermomix
- Carefully wash the mussels with plenty of water without leaving any residue on the shell.
- In the glass of the thermomix place the chopped leek next to the olive oil, program.
- 4 minutes / Temperature 100°/ Speed 3
- With the help of the spatula, remove the remains from the walls of the Thermomix bowl, then add water, white wine, mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste, place the varoma container and insert the mussels inside, program.
- 25 minutes / Varoma temperature / Speed 1
- At the end of this time, being careful not to burn yourself with the steam, check that all the mussels are open, if not, program a few more minutes.
- 5 minutes / Varoma temperature / Speed 1
- To serve, place the mussels in a bowl (those that are closed, discard them) and cover them with the leek and mustard sauce on top. To decorate, sprinkle some finely chopped parsley. As a garnish, a good bread to accompany and dip in the sauce.
- You can serve them as an appetizer or snack, they also combine perfectly with a good cold beer (juice for children) or with a glass of wine they are also spectacular.
