Ingredients of Mussels with Whiskey with Thermomix
- 1 kilo of clean mussels
- 200 grams of whiskey
- 100 grams of onion
- 30 grams of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 200 grams of evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- Black pepper
Preparation of Mussels with Whiskey with Thermomix
- With the clean mussels ( either because we have cleaned them well or we have bought them clean ) , we put them in the varoma container and reserve
- We start by putting the onion cut into pieces, and the olive oil in our Thermomix bowl and chop
- 10 seconds / speed 5
- then we program
- 10 minutes / Varoma / speed 2 (without putting the cup)
- we add the evaporated milk, the whiskey and the pepper and we place the varoma container on top that we had reserved with the mussels and we program
- 13 minutes / Varoma / speed 2
- then we put the cornstarch and with the spatula we mix it a little and cook again
- 5 minutes / Varoma / speed 2
- we remove the mussels from the varoma and put them in a bowl and put the sauce made with our thermomix on top and eat while they are still hot
