Ingredients of Cream of leeks and prawns with thermomix
5 cooked prawns (whole or in pieces to decorate)
50ml extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
200 grams of leek cut into slices (preferably the white part)
1 onion in pieces (complete white and green part)
25 grams butter
150 grams potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces (for quick cooking)
500 ml. of water or chicken broth
300 grams of liquid cream (if you want a low-calorie cream you can use light cream)
Salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Preparation of cream of leeks and prawns with thermomix
To start this delicious dish you must cook the prawns, you can fry them in a pan with olive oil and salt or simply cook them in water and salt (whatever you prefer). Reserve to decorate the plate.
Then in the Thermomix bowl crush the pieces of leeks and spring onion and the garlic cloves. Schedule.
