Ingredients of Thermomix Stracciatella Greek Yogurt

  • 700 grams of fresh milk of the day
  • 300 grams of whipping cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 1 plain Greek yogurt
  • 30 grams of powdered milk
  • 1/2 bar of grated milk or dark chocolate

Preparation of Greek yogurt from stracciatella Thermomix

  1. We mix in our Thermomix bowl the milk, the cream, the vanilla pod and the sugar and program
  2. 8 minutes / 100ºC / speed 1
  3. we wait a few minutes until the temperature lower to about 40ºC
  4. add the Greek yogurt and powdered milk and program
  5. 1 minute / speed 3
  6. remove the vanilla pod
  7. From this point we can do it in 2 ways:
  8. with yogurt maker
  9. the glasses of our yogurt maker are filled with the liquid resulting from the mixture of the ingredients and we follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the yogurt maker (usually about 8 hours)
  10. once finished we put them in the fridge and once cold add the grated chocolate and cool again after stirring it very well
  11. without yogurt maker
  12. we put the contents of our glass in
  13. remove the glass from the robot and “shelter” it throughout the night, that is, put a warm blanket or cloth on it
  14. In this way, what is going to be achieved is that the necessary fermentation takes place so that the Greek yogurt is obtained.
  15. Then we do the same step as when leaving the yogurt maker, we put them in the fridge and once cold, add the grated chocolate and cool again after stirring it very well.
