Cava flan ingredients with Thermomix
- 500 grams of Cava wine
- 6 eggs
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 150 grams of sugar
- the skin of a lemon
- 100 grams of liquid caramel
- 1000 grams of water

Preparation of flan de cava with Thermomix
- To begin the preparation of this wonderful and original dessert, pour the cava wine together with the cinnamon and the lemon peel in the Thermomix bowl, do not cover with the beaker to facilitate the evaporation of the alcohol and program.
- 5 minutes / Varoma temperature / Speed 1.
- At the end of the first programmed time, cover with the cup and program.
- 10 minutes / Temperature 70° / Speed 1.
- Once the mixture is ready, pour it into a jar passing it through the strainer to remove the cinnamon stick. Reserve for a few minutes.
- On the other hand, add the eggs to the glass of the thermomix together with the sugar and program.
- 15 seconds / Speed 4.
- Next, add the reserved cava wine infusion and program.
- 30 seconds / Speed 2.
- While the mixture is ready, prepare a flan mold or individual molds (they can also be terrine molds) and pour in the liquid caramel.
- Immediately pour the mixture into the molds, cover the mold(s) with aluminum foil and place them inside the Varoma container, cover.
- Pour the water into the Thermomix bowl, place the varoma container in position and program
- 35 minutes / Varoma temperature / Speed 2.
- Once the cooking time has elapsed, carefully remove it from the varoma container, let it rest for a few minutes and then put it in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
