Greek yogurt cake ingredients with air fryer – airfryer
- 4 eggs (L)
- Greek yogurt (sweetened, two 110gr. each)
- Sugar (1 cup)
- Pastry flour (2 and a half cups)
- Sunflower oil (1 cup)
- Chemical yeast (16gr.)
- zest of 1 lemon

- The preparation of this cake is very simple, we are only going to mix the ingredients and it will be with the measurements of the glass of yogurt, we will begin…
- In a container or bowl we are going to add the 4 eggs, we have used size L, then the sugar, a small glass (of those for yogurt), and we also add the zest of a lemon, it is optional but it gives it a very good touch, since With these three ingredients we are going to mix with some manual rods, in a minute or so we already have the ingredients well integrated, the lemon zest will be seen, it will not be integrated so much as to disappear, but it is normal, we continue…
- Now we add the Greek yogurt, we have used sweetened Greek yogurt, and we are going to add two yogurts, they are 110gr., and remember that these little glasses are the ones we are using for the rest of the ingredients
- With the two added yogurts we are going to mix well, in a couple of minutes we already have it, the next ingredient will be sunflower oil, a small glass of oil, and we mix again with the manual rods
- and finally we only have the flour and chemical yeast, we use pastry flour, it will be 2 and a half cups of flour and yeast, an envelope, it is 16gr.,
- When adding these ingredients we do it with a sieve so that the flour is finer and avoid too many lumps, we mix again for a couple of minutes and the preparation of the cake will be ready.
- Now we prepare the mold that we are going to use, in our case it is a round, removable 18 cm steel mold. in diameter, we will put baking paper on the base, and on the walls a little butter and flour, so it will be much easier to remove from the mold.
- We take all the preparation that we have in the container to the mold, and now
- Preheat the fryer for 4 minutes / 165ºC
- after these 4 minutes of preheating, we take out the basket and, being careful not to burn ourselves, we put the mold in the fryer basket, it will be
- 40 minutes / 165ºC
- We can check when it takes 30 minutes, we click with a toothpick and see if it’s still wet or it’s done, in our case we leave it for 40 minutes after checking, but keep in mind that each fryer is different, the same happens in the oven, it can vary times from one to another.
- After 40 minutes, we take it out and let it cool so we can unmold it without burning ourselves, 15 minutes is enough, we take it out of the mold and let it cool on a wire rack.
- Our Greek yogurt cake is ready.

– The pastry flour is wheat but with less protein, a weaker flour and ideal for biscuits.
– If you make the recipe with larger and heavier yogurts, you can still use the glass, the difference will not be too much.
