Today we bring you a recipe for this Christmas that we like very much and that we are sure we will make. It is a chocolate and orange nougat. I have always loved the mix of chocolate and orange and in the nougat it works wonderfully.

Ingredients for chocolate and orange nougat with thermomix

120 grams of fondant chocolate for desserts
120 grams of milk chocolate between pieces
120 grams of candied orange in pieces
40 grams of lard
30 grams of raw almond granules

Preparation of chocolate and orange nougat with thermomix

To start the recipe we put the chocolates in the glass and grate
*10 seconds / speed 7 *
remove and reserve in a bowl
Put the candied orange in the glass and chop
3 seconds / speed 5
remove and reserve in a bowl
We put the reserved chocolate together with the lard and melt
4 minutes / 50 °C / speed 2
while it is being done, take a wooden box the size of the nougat pills and line it with baking paper, leaving it to protrude a little from the sides
We return to our Thermomix glass and with the spatula we lower the pieces that could be stuck to the sides of the glass and mix
15 seconds / speed 5
add the reserved orange and the almond if we mix
10 seconds / turn left / speed 3
pour the content into the wooden box and decorate it with a slice of candied orange
We leave it in the refrigerator to cool for about two hours before unmolding
