Ingredients of chicken broth with thermomix

  • 1.5 liters of water
  • 4 pieces of chicken (thighs or drumsticks are recommended as they provide more flavor)
  • 1-2 chicken carcasses (chicken bones)
  • 1-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 leek, cleaned and cut into 2 pieces
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped into pieces
  • 2 carrots, skinned and chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • A bouquet or bundle of aromatic herbs (thyme, parsley, oregano -to taste-) or a few leaves of parsley, coriander, bay leaf, pepper, any of them are good options.
  • The vegetables you can add to your liking: celery, turnip, potatoes or pumpkin.

Preparation of chicken broth with thermomix

  1. The first step is to prepare the chicken pieces, clean them and debone the chicken to leave only the carcasses.
  2. Then, in the Thermomix bowl, add the water, the chicken pieces next to the carcass, the garlic cloves and the onion, program.
  3. 10 minutes/ Temperature 100°/ Spoon speed
  4. This first cooking you will notice that foam forms on the surface, remove these impurities with the help of a slotted spoon. And then add the vegetables and aromatic herbs, together with the salt, program.
  5. 30 minutes/ Temperature 100°/ Spoon speed
  6. At the end of the time, check that the vegetables are completely cooked.
  7. Also, remove the chicken carcasses and the bouquet garni from the broth.
  8. To serve, place the broth in soup bowls along with some cooked vegetables and a piece of chicken.
