Ingredients
- (Makes about 1.2 liters)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 850 grams of fresh tomato
- 30 grams of tomato paste (tomato concentrate)
- 120 grams of brown sugar
- 230 grams of honey
- 1 teaspoon of cumin (cumin)
- Pepper
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 10 g soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Peel the garlic and onion and chop for 7 seconds / speed 7
- Then add the tomatoes and chop at 5/20 seconds.
- Now we put all the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and cook for 7
- minutes / varoma temperature / speed 1
- It is best to use the cooking basket as a splash guard. Finally, mash with the
- Thermomix® lid on for 20 seconds / step 10.
- If the sauce still has a lot of liquid. Who likes it thicker, extends the
- cooking time until the desired thickness of the sauce is reached.
- But since we use the sauce as a marinade at the same time, we prefer a little
- thinner. Maximo would cook the sauce for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Fill the sauce into prepared sterile bottles and close! The sauce will keep for
- 2-3 weeks.
