Orange Curd ingredients with thermomix
- 250 grams of sugar
- The skin of an orange without any white
- 200 grams of natural orange juice
- 120 grams of butter
- 4 eggs
Preparation of Orange Curd with thermomix
- The first thing we must do is pulverize the sugar in our Thermomix during
- 30 seconds / progressive speed 5-7-10
- until it is fine.
- Add the orange peel and grind it for
- 20 seconds / speed 10
- to obtain an aromatic powder.
- We add the rest of the ingredients in the Thermomix and program
- 20 minutes / 90ºC / speed 4
- It is important that the butter is at room temperature so that it integrates well with the other ingredients.
- After time, we check that the cream has a smooth and creamy texture. If we notice that it is still very liquid, we can program a few more minutes at the same speed and temperature.
- Once ready, we can vacuum pack it or refrigerate it until use, using a spatula to remove the remains of the cream that remain on the walls of the Thermomix.
- This delicious orange cream can be used as a filling in cakes or cakes, or simply spread on bread or cookies to enjoy at any time of the day.
