Japanese Miso Soup with Thermomix
Ingredients
- 100 gr. daikon (Japanese turnip, or normal turnip)
- Dashi powder
- Kombu seaweed
- 150 grams of diced tofu
- 600 grams of water
- 150 gr. ripe avocado pulp
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, strained
- 100 gr. yellow miso paste
- chives
Instructions
- Hydrate the kombu seaweed in a bowl with water and reserve
- cut the turnips into julienne like the chives and reserve
- cut the avocado in small pieces and reserve
- We start by making the dashi broth Heat the water for 8 minutes / 100º / speed 1
- Insert 1 tablespoon of dashi powder and put the turnips to cook 10 minutes / 100º / speed 1 strain the broth and reserve the turnips
- We put the broth back and put 200 grams more water in our thermomix glass and add the avocado, miso paste and lemon juice 30 seconds / speed 5
- add the tofu cubes together with the reserved turnips and add the reserved kombu seaweed heat up for 5 minutes / 100º / speed 1
- we serve in a bowl or bowl and ready to eat
