Ingredients for chicken popcorn with thermomix

500 g skinless chicken breasts
2 eggs
50g of flour
50g breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation of chicken popcorn with thermomix

Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces, about 2-3 cm in size.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
In another bowl, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten egg and then in the flour and breadcrumb mixture, making sure to coat them completely.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In the Thermomix container, pour enough vegetable oil to cover the chicken pieces. Program the Thermomix to
9 minutes / Varoma temperature / speed 2 to heat the oil.
Carefully introduce the breaded chicken pieces into the hot oil of the Thermomix and fry until golden and crisp.
This can take 6-8 minutes, but be sure to check the chicken regularly to prevent burning.
Once fried, remove the chicken pieces from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Transfer the popcorn chicken to an ovenproof tray and bake for 10-15 minutes to ensure it is cooked through on the inside.
Once baked, remove the popcorn chicken from the oven and serve hot.
