1 german beer
2 pork chops
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Half a teaspoon of mustard
A quarter cup of brown sugar
2 cups of chicken broth
A quarter cup of cider vinegar
105 grams of unsalted butter
A quarter cup of flour
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon juniper
Cup and a half of toasted rye bread
Half a cup of olive oil
Half a cup of grated cheese
250 grams of mushrooms
1 small apple peeled and chopped
Half a cup of sauerkraut
Preparation of pork chops with beer with Thermomix
When you have gathered all those ingredients, follow the steps that we indicate:
Pour the sugar, water, half of the beer, vinegar, juniper, salt and pepper into the robot’s glass. program to
spoon speed / 70º / 1 minute.
In a plastic bag, put the chops with the sauce from the glass. Close the bag and let it macerate for at least 9 hours.
In a pan, add the oil and a little butter. When they are hot, add the mushrooms to brown them.
Mix half of the mushrooms with the sauerkraut, salt, apple and pepper and then add the bread and cheese as well. Reserve the other half of the mushrooms.
When the 9 hours have passed, you will have to season the chops and brown them in a pan. When they are ready, put them on a baking tray and put it in the oven, previously preheated. Keep it there for about 20 minutes at 190º.
Pour the rest of the butter into a pan and when it melts, add the flour. Then, you add the beer you have reserved and mix everything over the fire. Then, you add the chicken broth little by little.
Add the reserved mushrooms and cook for several minutes. Finally, add the mustard, dill, salt and pepper.
All that remains is to plate the chops with the sauce.
