Ingredients of Horchata Custard with Thermomix
- 1 liter of horchata (we can buy it made or make the horchata us )
- 4 eggs
- 40 grams of sugar
- 40 grams of Cornstarch
- the skin of ½ lemon (without any white part)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 Maria cookies
Preparation of Horchata Custard with Thermomix
- We will start by putting the horchata in the glass of our thermomix, together with the sugar, the cornstarch and the eggs and mix everything:
- 20 seconds / speed 5
- We put the butterfly to the blades of our thermomix and add the cinnamon stick and the lemon skin, it is very important that it does not have any of the white skin, because it would make the custard bitter and we program
- 15 minutes / 90ºC / turn to the left and speed 2
- After the time, we remove the butterfly and remove the cinnamon stick and the lemon skin and reprogram
- 20 seconds / speed 8
- We place the content in 6 bowls and let it temper and then put it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before consuming.
