Ingredients of Horchata Cake with thermomix
- 1 liter of horchata
- 300 grams of cookies (Digestive type)
- 10 little cheeses
- 80 grams of butter
- 2 sachets of curd powder
- 4 tablespoons of white sugar.
- Cinnamon powder (to taste)
Preparation of Horchata Cake with thermomix
- To start our recipe, the first thing we are going to do is crush the cookies that we will use as a base, for which we will put them in our Thermomix bowl and program
- 20 seconds / speed 8
- If we have stuck remains on the sides, we lower them with the spatula, and add the butter (we must have it at room temperature so that it dissolves easily) and program again
- 3 minutes /50 °C / speed 3
- then we put the biscuit with the butter in a tartan mold ((we have used one of about 23 – 24 cm)
- And we will press the cookie with our hand so that it is compact at the bottom
- and we put it in the fridge to cool down, while we continue doing the rest of the steps
- then we put in our Thermomix bowl the liter of horchata, the cheeses, the sugar and the curd sachets and programmed
- 7 minutes / 90 °C / speed 5
- and we put all the mixture on top of the biscuits of our mold with great care that when we put the mixture we do not break the biscuit layer
- We put it back in the fridge very carefully and leave it for 6 hours to cool and thicken.
- and our horchata cake will be ready to eat
Grades
If we wish, we can put a little cinnamon on top to decorate, which will give it a touch, just as it is done with a glass of milk.
