Competitive Pizza preparation with thermomix
Now that we have everything ready, let’s move on to the preparation of the dough. In a glass of the Thermomix, we put the water and warm it programming
2 minutes / 37ºC / speed 1
Then add the yeast and mix for
4 seconds / speed 4
In the next step, we add the regular and strength flours, the oil, the salt and the oregano to the previous mixture. We program the Thermomix during
4 minutes / speed Spike
to obtain a smooth and elastic dough.
Once the dough is ready, we transfer it to a floured bowl and shape it into a ball.
Cover the bowl and let the yeast take effect in a warm place for about an hour, until the dough doubles in volume.
After this resting time, we degas the dough by dusting it with flour and divide it into 2 smaller balls.
preheat the oven to 250ºC
Now is the time to stretch the balls of dough until they are very thin. To prevent the dough from swelling, we slightly prick the surface with a fork.
Then, we bake the pizza bases at
250ºC / 5 minutes
Once the pizza bases are precooked, we take them out of the oven and add a thin layer of fried tomato, spreading it delicately on the dough to avoid excessive moisture.
Next, we generously spread grated mozzarella cheese, bacon and more grated cheese to enhance the flavor.
Reduce the oven temperature to 210ºC and bake the pizzas for approximately 15 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
At the end of cooking, we take the pizzas out of the oven and sprinkle them with an additional touch of oregano to highlight their characteristic aroma and flavor.
Now your delicious homemade pizzas are ready to be served. You can enjoy them as is or add your favorite toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, or even pineapple.
