It is a soft and creamy orange cream, ideal for spreading on cookies, bread or to fill your favorite cakes and biscuits, such as lemon curd but in an orange version.

On this occasion, we bring you a very easy version to prepare in your Thermomix, with ingredients that you probably have at home. Get ready to enjoy an explosion of citrus flavor with every bite!

Orange Curd ingredients with thermomix

250 grams of sugar
The skin of an orange without any white
200 grams of natural orange juice
120 grams of butter
4 eggs

Preparation of Orange Curd with thermomix

The first thing we must do is pulverize the sugar in our Thermomix during
30 seconds / progressive speed 5-7-10
until it is fine.
Add the orange peel and grind it for
20 seconds / speed 10
to obtain an aromatic powder.
We add the rest of the ingredients in the Thermomix and program
20 minutes / 90ºC / speed 4
It is important that the butter is at room temperature so that it integrates well with the other ingredients.
After time, we check that the cream has a smooth and creamy texture. If we notice that it is still very liquid, we can program a few more minutes at the same speed and temperature.
Once ready, we can vacuum pack it or refrigerate it until use, using a spatula to remove the remains of the cream that remain on the walls of the Thermomix.
This delicious orange cream can be used as a filling in cakes or cakes, or simply spread on bread or cookies to enjoy at any time of the day.
