we check the thickness of our jam that is to taste, if it seems very liquid we can leave it cooking for another 10 minutes
although when cooling the jam thickens a little so be careful not to overdo it
sterilization of boats
prepare very clean jars and sterilize the jars in a large pot of water boiling for 30 minutes
We take the boats out of the water and put them on a clean cotton cloth face down
We fill the jars with the jam, we fill them quite a bit but not 100%, we close the jars very tightly, making good pressure
and we put them in a large and tall pot that covers them, we cover them with water and cook them
for 30 more minutes in a water bath
