Air Fryer Yogurt Apple Pie Ingredients -airfryer
Apple (5)
Eggs (3)
Brown sugar 120gr.
Milk 150 ml.
Natural yogurt (one of 125gr.)
orange zest (one)
Wheat flour 150gr.
Chemical yeast 16gr.
Peach jam (to decorate)
Preparation of apple pie and yogurt with air fryer -airfryer
We start by peeling, coring and cutting 3 apples into small pieces, then we take half of those three chopped apples to the container where we will add the rest of the ingredients, only half, the other half we reserve for later…
We have the apples in the container and we add the three eggs, the sugar, the milk, the natural yogurt and the orange zest, with all this we proceed to mix and crush using the hand blender with the blades, to crush the whole apple that we have in the container, in about two minutes we will have everything fully integrated.
Now it is the turn to add the flour and chemical yeast, we place a strainer over the container and put the flour and yeast and proceed to strain (sift) and we are going to mix it with manual rods, in a couple of minutes we have it completely mixed ,
Finally, we only have to add the chopped apple that we had reserved at the beginning, this process is optional, it seems to us that finding apple pieces inside the cake is delicious, it looks great, but this is up to taste, so as you want….add the chopped apple and move with a spatula or spoon, simply to distribute the apple.
With all the mixture already prepared, we take it to the mold that we are going to use, which we have previously put on the baking paper base and butter and flour on the walls, to unmold better, we add the mixture and now we peel, core and cut into thin slices the other two apples, these thin slices will be to put on the cake, we go surrounding the entire surface until we cover it with apple now yes and we have the cake ready for cooking….
We preheat the airfryer for 3 minutes at 160ºc…
Next we put the mold in the tray (or basket) of the air fryer and it will be
42 minutes at 160ºc
The time may vary depending on each fryer (oven as well), by capacity and/or power.
After 42 minutes we already have the cake and now we just have to let the rest times pass…
– 30 minutes in the fryer
– 1 hour outside at room temperature
– And let it cool in the fridge/refrigerator for at least 2 hours
Before tasting it, it is advisable to remove it from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before, it will have a better flavor and texture.
