🛒 Ingredients

  • 100g of ricotta

  • 2 heaped tablespoons of sugar

  • Vanilla or orange/lemon zest (optional)

  • 1 egg

  • 40g of butter

  • 1/3 cup of milk

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


🔪 Step by step preparation

1️⃣ Step on the ricotta

Crush the ricotta with a fork until smooth and creamy.


2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients

Add the sugarthe flour and the baking powder to ricotta. Mix well and reserve.


3️⃣ Prepare the liquid mixture

Melts the butter and let cool to room temperature.
Add the egg and the milkbeating until a homogeneous mixture remains.


4️⃣ Combine both mixtures

Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix gently until homogenized. Little pieces of ricotta will remain visible, providing texture and creaminess.


5️⃣ Bake in the Airfryer

Butter and flour a small mold (approx. 14 x 14 cm) that fits in your air fryer.
Pour the batter and cook 180°C for 25 minutes.


6️⃣ Check cooking

Prick with a toothpick; If it comes out dry, remove the cake and let it cool on a rack.
If the base is not golden, unmold, invert into the mold and bake. 5 more minutes at 180 °C.

  • 🍋 Citrus zest: a touch of lemon or orange enhances the flavor and makes it more aromatic.

  • 🧈 Cold melted butter: prevents the mixture from cutting when joining it with the dry ingredients.
