Pretzels ingredients with thermomix
- 40 grams of pressed baker’s yeast
- 600 grams of flour
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 20 grams of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 400 grams of milk
- 500 grams of water
- 3 tablespoons baking soda
- Melted butter for brushing
- Sesame seeds or coarse salt (coarse or sea salt)
Preparation of Pretzels with thermomix
- Place in the glass of the thermomix, the milk, together with the yeast, a teaspoon of sugar and the oil, program.
- 4 seconds / Speed 5
- Hot to activate the washing, in the same glass of the thermomix, program.
- 2 minutes / 37° / Speed 2
- Then, to form the dough, add the flour and the two teaspoons of salt, program.
- 10 seconds / Speed 7
- Immediately schedule.

- When the dough is formed, let it rest in a bowl until it doubles in size.
- To shape the Pretzels, divide the dough into balls of approximately 100 grams and stretch each one to form a cylinder or strip. Intertwine the ends to form a kind of bow that is the typical shape of the Pretzel.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C. And prepare a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
- Also, have a pot of hot water and add baking soda.
- Dip each Pretzel in the water for 30 seconds. And then, place them on the baking sheet, a few inches apart as they tend to rise a bit more in baking.
- Brush the Pretzels with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds or coarse salt.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the surface of each Pretzel is golden brown.
