This recipe has been made by our friend Luz Maria Lagoa Vives. Hello comrades. Happy Holy Thursday. I leave you here the recipe that I make for torrijas this year, I will eat them outside,,, Happy rest to all.

I highly recommend them. They are super good.

Ingredients of milk torrijas with a touch of anise with thermomix

  • Bread, brioche, milk, whatever you have, leftover (from the previous day)
  • 1’250 grams milk
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Peel of 1 lemon and an orange
  • 70 ml anise

OTHERS

  • 3 beaten eggs (for coating)
  • Sunflower oil (for frying)
  • Sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder (for coating)

Preparation of milk torrijas with a touch of anise with thermomix

  1. We place all the ingredients except the liquor in the glass,
  2. 10 minutes / 90° / left or reverse rotation / spoon speed.
  3. When finished, we pour the liquor and program
  4. 4 minutes / same temperature and speed.
  5. We leave it covered for 10 min.
  6. Then, we strain it into a bowl and place the bread, turning it over so that it soaks well.
  7. We take them out to a source.
  8. We heat the oil, pass through the beaten egg and cook, until both sides brown.
  9. We place it on kitchen paper so that it absorbs the excess oil.
  10. Then, as a final step, we will coat them in sugar
  11. ONLY LEFT TO ENJOY, GOOD PROFIT
