I have loved scallops since the day I discovered them, not many years ago, before I didn’t even know they existed and it was a real blow.
I like them anyway in a can as an appetizer, or in their shell for grilling and as it could not be otherwise when I tried them in a rice dish it was something fantastic, since then I usually make them a lot

Ingredients
- 15 scallops
- 800 grams of fish fumet
- Parsley
- 2 envelopes of saffron threads
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 150 grams of white wine
- 50 grams of orange juice
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 grams of crushed tomatoes
- 150 grams of red bell pepper
- 50 grams of extra virgin oil
- 300 grams of bomb rice
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
Instructions
- We start by placing the fish stock in our thermomix glass. I usually use aneto if I don't have time to make a good homemade fish stock,
- Add parsley, garlic, saffron, wine, salt, orange juice and program 45 seconds / speed 8
- We take out and reserve
- Then without washing the glass, we put the green bell pepper, red bell pepper and tomato and program 6 seconds / speed 7
- We add the virgin olive oil and we program 10 minutes / temperature varoma / speed 1
- We now put the rice and program again 2 minutes / 100 º C / left turn / spoon speed
- We pour the scallops and the reserved broth at the beginning and program 12 minutes / 100ºC / left turn / spoon speed
- We let it rest for 5 minutes in the same glass of thermomix and our creamy rice with scallops with thermomix will be ready to eat, a good glass of white wine or albariño to accompany and delicious.
