This Mediterranean air fryer burger is just that: an easy, quick recipe with a brutal flavor, made with simple but well thought out ingredients. In less than 15 minutes you have a juicy, aromatic burger with that addictive salty touch of olives and feta.
The best thing is that you don’t need a frying pan, or smoke, or stain half the kitchen. The air fryer does all the work and the result is spectacular. I started making it one day when I wanted to vary it a little… and since then it has remained a fixture at home. Every time I make it, someone asks, “What’s in this burger that tastes so good?” 😍

Mediterranean Burger in Air Fryer
Compared to the traditional grilled burger, this version is more aromatic, less greasy and with a much more interesting flavor profile. It is ideal for quick dinners, to surprise guests or to get out of the routine effortlessly.
For 2 burgers:
To assemble:
👉 You can use chicken or turkey meat if you want a lighter version.
👉 For gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread or serve it on the plate.
👉 Feta can be replaced with soft goat cheese.
Before you start, having everything ready makes the recipe flow much better. You don’t need anything weird or special.
What you need:
If you have perforated paper or a fryer liner, it helps keep the basket clean, but is not required.
Previous preparation:
All this takes about 5 minutes and then it’s mixing, forming and cooking. Easy and stress-free 😌
In a large bowl add the minced meat, olives, dried tomato, oregano, feta, salt, pepper and a splash of olive oil.
Mix gently with your hands, without squeezing too much, just until integrated.
Divide the mixture into two equal parts and form the burgers. Do not crush them excessively; The looser you are, the juicier they will be.
Preheat the fryer to 180°C if your model requires it.
Place the burgers in the basket and cook for 9–11 minutes, turning halfway through.
When there are 2 minutes left, add the halved bread to the fryer and toast at 180°C for 1–2 minutes.
Bread → sauce → arugula → hamburger → tomato → tapa.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
