Wine Donuts with Thermomix
Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan without oil until lightly golden. We reserve.
We heat the oil and the wine together with the anise grain, without letting it boil. We reserve and let it cool.
We place the butterfly on the blades and add the butter, icing sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon. We add 1 min, V-4.
We add the warm oil and wine with the anise. We mix 40 sec, V-4. Add the sesame seeds and mix for 10 seconds, V-4.
We remove the butterfly and add the flour in two times. We mix 20 sec, V-6.
We pour the dough onto the table, form a ball, wrap it in film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
We form portions of about 40 g, make balls, flatten them slightly and make a large central hole.
We place it on a tray with baking paper and leave it in the refrigerator while the oven is preheated to 180º, heat up and down.
We bake in batches for about 30 minutes, adjusting the time depending on whether we like them crispier or more tender.
We let it cool on a wire rack and, once cool, we coat it generously in powdered sugar.
