Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
  2. Add in the glass of thermomix, 250 grams of whole almonds to crush them, set 10 seconds / Speed ​​10
  3. Reserve this almond flour for later.
  4. Subsequently, add 250 grams of sugar and lemon peel, set 10 seconds / Speed ​​10
  5. Add eggs, set 10 seconds / Speed ​​5
  6. And finally, incorporate the almond flour, program 5 seconds / Speed ​​5
  7. Subsequently, add a little butter to the mold and with the help of the spatula pour the preparation.
  8. Bake at 180 ° C - 200 ° C for about 45 minutes, until the top hardens slightly and turns golden brown.
  9. When cooking is complete, remove from the oven and allow to cool well before decorating.
  10. Unmold the cake, place the template of the cross of Santiago on top and sprinkle the icing sugar little by little until it covers the surface so that when it is removed, the silhouette of the cross is printed.
  11. It already has a decorated dessert that will not have anything to envy to those who sell in the bakeries of the region.
  12. To serve cut into portions to your liking, serve accompanied with a rich coffee with milk, tea or a sweet wine.
