Teriyaki prawn ingredients with thermomix
250 grams of large prawns
100 grams of soy sauce
30 grams of Mirin or rice vinegar
80 grams of brown sugar
110 grams of water
2 cloves of garlic(optional)
The zest of two oranges
the zest of a lemon
1 piece of ginger(2 cm)
2 teaspoons of cornmeal
2 tablespoons olive or sesame oil

Preparation of teriyaki prawns with thermomix
To start this delicious recipe of oriental origin,place the lemon and orange zest in the Thermomix bowl together with the piece of ginger(at this point if you decide you can add the garlic cloves,although in Japanese cuisine it is uncommon,to our palate is)to make the teriyaki sauce,program.

Then,add the cornmeal but first dissolve it in a little water,also add the soy sauce,the rice vinegar,the brown sugar and the measure of water,program.

Next,heat a frying pan and add oil,when it is very hot add the prawns,let them brown on each side.
Once cooked,pour in the reserved teriyaki sauce and sautéfor a minute.You can let the sauce reduce a little more,for a more intense flavor.
While the prawns are sautéing,wash and finely chop the chives.
Once the preparation is ready,remove from the heat,sprinkle the chives that had been chopped and a little sesame seeds.Let stand.
