Ingredients of milk torrijas with a touch of anise with thermomix
Bread, brioche, milk, whatever you have, leftover (from the previous day)
1’250 grams milk
200 grams sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Peel of 1 lemon and an orange
70 ml anise
OTHERS
3 beaten eggs (for coating)
Sunflower oil (for frying)
Sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder (for coating)
Preparation of milk torrijas with a touch of anise with thermomix
We place all the ingredients except the liquor in the glass,
10 minutes / 90° / left or reverse rotation / spoon speed.
When finished, we pour the liquor and program
4 minutes / same temperature and speed.
We leave it covered for 10 min.
Then, we strain it into a bowl and place the bread, turning it over so that it soaks well.
We take them out to a source.
We heat the oil, pass through the beaten egg and cook, until both sides brown.
We place it on kitchen paper so that it absorbs the excess oil.
