Ingredients of Anti-Cold Chicken Soup with Thermomix
- 2-3 chicken thighs (about 700 g)
- 4 carrots
- 1 stick of celery
- 1 stick of leek
- 1 onion
- 1 liter of vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 g soup noodles
- Fresh parsley to decorate
Preparation of Anti-Cold Chicken Soup with Thermomix
- 1. Prepare the soup base
- Peel the onion, place it in the glass of your Thermomix and chop it for 5 seconds at speed 5. Use the spatula to push the pieces to the bottom of the glass. Then, add the liter of vegetable broth and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- 2. Cook the chicken in the Varoma
- Cut the chicken thighs close to the bones, divide them at the joints and place them in the Varoma container. Place the Varoma in its position on the closed glass and cook everything at Varoma temperature for 45 minutes, speed 1.
- Tip: If you need to purchase an additional Varoma accessory, you can purchase it directly from Vorwerk.
- 3. Prepare the vegetables
- While the chicken is cooking, peel and slice the carrots. Cut the leek into finger-sized rings and wash them well to remove any dirt. Cut the celery into large pieces.
- Tip: Do you prefer smaller pieces in your soup? You can chop the washed and peeled vegetables directly in the Thermomix container.
- 4. Cook the vegetables
- Remove the chicken thighs from the Varoma once they are cooked. Add the vegetables to the glass with the broth and continue cooking at Varoma temperature for 20 minutes, speed 1.
- 5. Cook the noodles and shred the chicken
- While the vegetables are cooking, boil the noodles in a separate pot of plenty of salted water according to package directions. When they are al dente, drain them and set them aside.
- Shred the chicken thighs with a fork, removing the skin and bones, and cut the meat into small pieces.
- 6. Mix and season the soup
- Add the cooked vegetables, chicken pieces and noodles to the broth in the glass. Set your Thermomix to 100°C, counterclockwise, speed 1, and mix for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Decorate and serve
- Serve the hot soup in bowls and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley. This final touch not only adds color, but also a fresh flavor that perfectly complements the dish.
