There are recipes that know home even if they are made in five minutes. This Potato and tuna cake in air frying It is one of them. Creamy inside, with its golden capita on the outside and that salty touch that give tuna and olives, it becomes the perfect dinner or food for when you do not know what to do but you want to eat well.
The key is in the simple and resulton: Basic ingredientszero complications and the superpower of the Airfryerthat achieves that perfect gratin in less than 10 minutes. Forget the traditional oven and welcome this fast, light and absolutely delicious version.

Potato and tuna cake in air fryer – Airfryer
🥔 350-400 g of potato puree (Homemade or instantaneous, you choose)
🍞 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
🧀 Grated cheese to taste (Emmental, Mozzarella, Manchego …)
For filling:
🐟 1 can natural tunawell drained
🫒 6 stuffed olivesgames in half
🌽 ½ small corn can
🍅 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce or type cheese Philadelphiaaccording to your craving
Forage a mold (Quepa in your air fryer) with baking paper so that nothing is stuck and it is easy to unmold later.
Mix the potato puree with breadcrumbs and put one fine layer at the mold base. This step gives structure to the cake and an extra touch of firmness.
In a bowl, Mix the drained tuna, the olives, the corn and the sauce you choose (tomato or cream cheese). This mixture has to be juicy but not liquid.
Extend the filling on the base of pureesmoothing with a spoon.
Covers everything with the rest of potato puree and ends with a good layer of grated cheese above. This is where golden magic begins.
Place the mold in the Airfryer in “Roast” mode at 190 ºC for 7-8 minutes. The cheese must be cast and slightly crispy on the edges.
Take care oflet a couple of minutes stand and enjoy your cake without oven!
More creamy puree: Add a tablespoon of butter or a splash of hot milk to puree to soften the texture.
Without breadcrumbs? You can use ground oat flakes or even some chickpea flour as an alternative.
Veggie version: Change the tuna for sauteed spinach, mushrooms or crumbled tofu with sauce.
For a Gourmet touchadd a little caramelized onion to the filling.
And if you have time: do the homemade potato puree with a little garlic or nutmeg. The difference is brutal.
