Ingredients of shortbread cake with thermomix
- 250 grams of shortbread
- 100 grams of sugar
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 3 large eggs
- 400 grams of whole milk
- 50 grams of sunflower oil
- Pinch of salt
- 50 grams of chopped almonds
- butter to spread the mold
- icing sugar to decorate
Preparation of shortbread cake with thermomix
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the shortbread to be crushed in the Thermomix bowl, program.
- 20 seconds / Progressive speed 5 – 10
- With the help of the spatula lower the remains of the walls of the Thermomix bowl and then add the granulated yeast, milk and sugar, program.
- 10 seconds / Speed 5
- Immediately add the eggs, the pinch of salt and the sunflower oil, program.
- 10 seconds / Speed 7
- Finally add the chopped almonds and mix, program.
- 5 seconds / Speed 2
- Grease the mold(s) where you want to bake the cake with butter, add the mixture and leave to rise for a few minutes before putting it in the oven.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C. To verify that the cake is ready, after 30 minutes insert a wooden toothpick in the center, if it comes out without mixture remains then the cake is well cooked.
- Remove from oven, let cool before unmolding.
