120 grams of dry ginger
120 grams of sugar
A little sugar to coat
1200 grams of water
Preparation of ginger candies with thermomix
We clean and remove the peel and cut the slices of ginger (longitudinal cut since it will be difficult to cut it crosswise due to the fibrous center), you can also cut it into cubes.
Place only one liter of water in the Thermomix bowl (reserve 200 grams) and the ginger pieces, program.
Drain the ginger pieces again and immediately pass them through sugar so that they are coated, place them on a tray with waxed paper or baking paper and let dry for at least 48 hours.
When they are dry, place them in a container with an airtight lid and store them, preferably in a glass jar or wrap each piece in wax paper or transparent paper.
