Preparation of Empanada stuffed with York ham and cheese with Thermomix
When you have gathered all these ingredients, follow the steps that I indicate:
The first thing will be to make the dough. To do this, pour the wine, water, oil and butter into the robot glass. Program to
speed 3 / 37º / 1 minute.
Now add the yeast and egg. Program to
speed 4 / 10 seconds.
Then, add the salt and flour. Mix to
speed 6 / 16 seconds.
Knead to
spike speed / 2 minutes.
Make a ball with the dough, cover it with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for about 60 minutes.
After that time, divide the dough into two equal parts and stretch them so that they have a rectangular shape.
To one of these two halves, add tomato, oregano, a layer of cheese, another of ham and another of tomato with oregano.
Put the second half on top of the one that already has the filling.
Join the two halves, sealing their edges together, paint the empanada with egg and place it on a preheated baking tray. Put it in the oven and keep it there
180º / 25 minutes.
