Today we are going to make one of the cakes that is my favorite when I was little, I have to say that I still love it, it is a chocolate and biscuit cake, the one we have always known as grandma’s cake and we are going to make it with our GM pot

Ingredients of Chocolate and Biscuit Cake, Grandma’s cake with GM pot
200 grams of chocolate coverage
800 ml of milk
160ml cream
75 grams of cornstarch
½ lemon
1 cinnamon stick
6 yolks
200 grams of sugar
50 grams of butter
1.5 packages of chiquilín type biscuit.

The first thing we are going to do is flavor the milk to make the pastry cream, for which we are going to put it in our bucket and we are going to add the skin of a lemon (only the yellow part because the white part binds) and a cinnamon stick we are going to program it
* slow fire menu / 90 °C / 20 minutes*
after that we strain the milk to remove both the cinnamon and the lemon peel, and we put the milk and the laundry back into our bucket
we add the cornstarch and the egg yolks and we return to program
* slow fire menu / 110 °C / 10 minutes
while we are continuously stirring it so that it does not stick to us
remove the cream from the bucket and reserve it
In a bowl, place a layer of biscuits that we will have moistened with milk and that will not be the base of the cake.
We put a layer of cream on top of the one we had reserved
we place another two layers of very determined cookies with milk on top and put it to cool in the fridge
Meanwhile we are going to make the chocolate coating
we introduce the cream in the bucket along with the chocolate and the butter and program
* slow fire menu / 90 °C / 5 minutes*
let it cool and put it on top of the last layer of cookies that we had put and put it back in the refrigerator and leave it for about 3 or four hours
after that our chocolate and biscuit cake or rather our granny cake will be ready
