Ingredients of Chicken salad with potatoes with thermomix

For the chicken and potato salad:

500 grams of chicken breast cut into pieces
650 grams of potatoes cut into cubes
100 grams or 1 can of frozen peas or beans
4 eggs
500 grams of water
Salt and black pepper to taste

For the tartar sauce:

250 grams of mayonnaise
50 grams of capers
20 pickled onions
50 grams of pitted green olives
40 grams of pickled cucumber

To decorate

8 cherry tomatoes
Chopped chives to decorate
Assorted lettuce leaves

Preparation of chicken salad with potatoes with thermomix

To start we will cook the chicken and potatoes in our thermomix.
So we add water to the glass, place the basket and place the eggs inside (carefully so they don’t break), then place the chopped chicken seasoned with salt and pepper on the varoma tray on the lid, program.

Once you verify that the cooking of the chicken and the potatoes is at its point, remove and reserve.
Now, to prepare a delicious homemade tartar sauce, add the mayonnaise, capers, olives, chopped gherkins and the 20 pickled onions to the Thermomix bowl (very clean and dry), program.

In this case, the speed and time of programming the thermomix will depend on how you want the texture of the tartar sauce. The longer and faster the speed, the smoother the texture will be. Reserve in a container.
Again, use the clean and dry thermomix to chop the eggs (peeled), once they are at room temperature, program.

Now mix everything, the potatoes together with the tartar sauce, the crushed eggs and the chicken.
