The orujo cream is very typical in the north of Spain (mainly Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia), really the orujo is typical of Cantabria and the aguardiente of Galicia, but they are very similar although the main brands of the orujo cream are in Cantabria in the Liebana area This recipe calls for chocolate
For those who have not been lucky enough to try it, to say that it is similar to baileysbut without that pronounced sweetness that Irish cream made with whiskey leaves you
I like pomace cream much more and when you try it we think you will too

Ingredients of Orujo Cream with Thermomix
370 grams of condensed milk (1 can)
50 grams of pure chocolate (in tablet) or 30 gr. (powdered)
20 grams of soluble coffee (type Nescafé®)
370 grams of whole milk
300 grams of Orujo or Galician brandy (white)
1 sachet of vanilla sugar (or a few drops of vanilla essence)
Preparation of Orujo Cream with Thermomix
To caramelize the condensed milk
In a fast pot we put 150 gr. of water, place a grid and the boat on top.
We cook it for 30 minutes. Let it cold down.
We place the dark chocolate in a tablet in our Thermomix bowl, and pulverize
maximum speed for a few seconds until powdered.
Add the soluble coffee, whole milk and vanilla sugar to the glass and program
3 minutes / 60º
so that the chocolate and coffee dissolve well.
Finally add the condensed milk (caramelized or not) and the orujo and mix
2 minutes / speed 4
until you get a cream.
We keep it in bottles and put it in the fridge, always in the fridge
