A perfect jam to use apples and enjoy safe and well-made preserves, with a homemade touch that never fails.
Apple Jam with Thermomix
INGREDIENTS
🍎 1 kg of apples (weight already peeled and seeded, Royal Gala variety)
🍋 40 ml lemon juice
🍬 280 g sugar
PREPARATION
1 Place the chopped apples, lemon juice and sugar in the glass. Grind for 30 seconds at progressive speed from 5 to 10.
2 Program 10 minutes, 100°, speed 3.
3 Remove the beaker, place the basket to avoid splashes and cook for 25 more minutes, 100°, speed 3.
4 If you prefer it denser, add a few additional minutes of cooking while maintaining the same temperature and speed.
5 Sterilize the jars and lids by boiling them in a pot of water. Drain and let dry completely before using them.
6 Fill the jars without reaching the top, close them tightly and let them rest for 30 minutes.
7 Prepare a pot with a cloth on the bottom, place the jars inside and add water until it covers just over half. Bring to a boil and keep in a bain-marie for 20 minutes.
8 Remove carefully, place the jars upside down and let them cool completely. Then store in the pantry without risk of botulism.
