The recipe that we propose in this post is one of the favorite desserts for families, especially from the Asturias region. Frisuelos with thermomix or as they are also known Frixuelos.
This tempting dessert, in addition to being delicate, is a delicacy, the acidity of the orange or lemon combined with the sweetness of the sugar and the softness of the dough makes it unmissable.
And all this is obtained in a few minutes and at a very cheap cost, but the taste that is going to be given is that of millionaires.

Ingredients of Frisuelos or Frixuelos with thermomix
100 grams of pastry flour
250 grams of whole milk
2 eggs
1 spoon of sugar
A pinch of salt.
Zest of a lemon or orange
A tablespoon of sweet anise
Vegetable oil or butter (to cook the frisuelos)
Preparation of Frisuelos or Frixuelos with thermomix
Place the milk, eggs and sugar in the Thermomix bowl, program.

Then, remove the cup and add the flour, program.

Add the orange or lemon zest and the tablespoon of sweet anise, program.

The result is a homogeneous, soft and smooth mixture, without lumps, not very liquid but not very thick either. Let the mixture sit in a cool place for 30 minutes.
Once the dough has risen, place a nonstick skillet over medium heat, then add oil or a teaspoon of butter (make sure to cover the entire pan), pour in a thin layer of dough, cook about 1 minute per each side.
Be careful when flipping them so they don’t warp and keep their original shape.
Stack all the crepes or frisuelos (frixuelos) to keep them warm, when serving sprinkle with granulated sugar or icing sugar.
