Air Fryer Loaf Bread Ingredients
400 grams of strong flour
2 grams of dry yeast (if you use fresh, it will be 6 grams)
300 grams of water
7 grams of salt
a little olive oil
Preparation of Loaf Bread with Air Fryer
Prepare the yeast and water mixture:
In a large container, add 300 grams of water and 2 grams of dry yeast (or 6 grams if fresh).
Mix the yeast and water well, making sure the water is at room temperature.
Mix for a couple of minutes with a spoon.
Add the dry ingredients:
Place a sieve over the container and add 400 grams of strong flour.
Add 7 grams of salt and sift everything together.
Mix the dough:
Use a spoon to mix all the ingredients well. This process will take about 5-6 minutes.
Continue mixing until the dough no longer sticks to the spoon and is fully integrated.
Dough rest:
Transfer the dough to a clean container (a tupperware is ideal) lightly greased with olive oil.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours (we left it for 14 hours).
Prepare and shape the dough:
After the resting time, sprinkle flour abundantly on the work surface.
Carefully remove the dough from the container and place it on the floured surface.
Stretch and shape into a circular shape, being careful not to degas the dough. Wrap the dough four or five times to give it the final round bread shape.
Second rest:
Let the dough rest for at least an hour so that it increases in volume. The time may vary depending on the ambient temperature.
Prepare for baking:
Preheat the air fryer to 170 degrees for 3 minutes.
Make a couple of marks in the dough with a knife (we didn’t open them far enough, so make sure to make them deep).
Sprinkle a little flour over the dough.
Bake in the air fryer:
Place baking paper on the base of the fryer basket.
Place the dough on the paper and put it in the basket.
Bake at 170 degrees for 25 minutes.
Finish baking:
Turn the bread over and bake at the same temperature (170 degrees) for 5 more minutes.
