Ingredients
100 basil leaves
1 liter of brandy
vanilla extract
zest of 2 lemons
500 grams of water
250 grams of granulated sugar
Preparation
Wash and clean the basil leaves well.
In a large glass jar we marinate the basil leaves with the alcohol, the lemon zest (only the yellow part) and the vanilla.
let it marinate for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, we put the water and sugar in our Thermomix bowl:
10 minutes / 90ºC / Speed 2.
Let cool and add the jar that we had marinating with the alcohol and the basil leaves
We close again in the airtight glass jar and let it rest in the dark for at least a week, shaking from time to time.
After a week, pour into the bottle, filtering it with a strainer.
