Recipe sent by Marta Conesa. Today I want to share with you a very special recipe: My grandmother’s lentil stew with Thermomix 👩🍳, a delicious preparation that I learned from my grandmother and that I have adapted to the Themomix.
This dish, full of flavor and tradition, combines tender lentils, smoked meat and aromas of thyme and bay leaf, all perfectly cooked in the Thermomix.
It is a comforting stew, ideal for cold days ❄️, which carries that homemade touch that only grandmother’s recipes can offer. 💖

MY grandmother’s lentil stew ingredients with Thermomix
- 100 g of carrots, cut into pieces 🥕
- 1 large onion, punctured with 3 smell nails 🧅
- 2 garlic cloves 🧄
- 300 g of green lentils 🌱
- 400 g of smoked ham, sliced 🥓
- 2 Tomillo Sprigs 🌿
- 1 bay leaf 🍃
- 700 g of cold water 💧
- 1 Morteau sausage 🌭
- Pepper 🧂
Preparation of my grandmother’s lentil stew with Thermomix
- Put the carrot pieces 🥕 in the glass and crushing 6 sec/speed 5.
- Add the onion 🧅, the garlic cloves 🧄, the lentils 🌱, the meat 🥓, the thyme 🌿, the bay leaf 🍃, the water 💧 and the pepper 🧂.
- Place the lid without the meter vessel, put the Morteau sausage 🌭 in the varoma and place it in position.
- Kitchen 40 min/100 ° C/Inverse turn/slow cooking speed ⏲️.
- Cut the Morteau sausage 🌭 in slices and serves everything with mustard 🟡.
Tip: I let you see the photos 📸, you will notice that I put large pieces of meat 🥩 directly in my thermomix, and that they are perfectly intact with the reverse turn. 😉
