1200 grams of water
2 teaspoons of salt
250 grams of Reis, previously cooked
500-600 grams of mixed vegetables, cut into small pieces
30 grams of olive oil
150 grams of onions, cut in half
1 clove garlic
25 grams of tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon ground cilantro
1 can of coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon curry
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
Preparation of Vegetable Curry with Coconut Milk with Thermomix
Add water and 1 teaspoon of salt to the Thermomix bowl. Hang the cooking insert and place the pre-cooked rice in the cooking basket.
In the Varoma container, place the mixed vegetables. Make sure to leave some steam slots free and cook for 22 minutes at Varoma temperature and speed 1.
Remove the Varoma container and cooking accessory. Then, rinse the Thermomix bowl.
Put the oil, onion and garlic in the glass, and chop for 4 seconds at speed 5. Then, sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.
Add the tomato paste and cilantro to the glass, and sauté again for 2 minutes at 100°C and speed 1.
Add the coconut milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, curry, turmeric, cumin and sweet paprika to the glass. Cook for 3 minutes at 100°C and speed 1.
Place the Varoma vegetables in the glass. Do not put the beaker in, instead, place the cooking accessory on the lid of the glass to keep the rice warm for 5 minutes at 100°C, reverse rotation and speed 1.
