- 120 g white chocolate (chopped)
- 60 ml whipping cream (cold, divided into 30 ml and 30 ml)
- Additional cream to decorate, if desired
- Sprinkles or decorations to taste
Preparation of easy White Chocolate Mousse (Thermomix)
- Whip the cream:
- Place the butterfly in the Thermomix glass.
- Add 30 ml of very cold cream.
- Whip the cream at speed 3.5 until firm peaks form. (This may take 1 to 3 minutes, be careful not to overmix).
- Remove the whipped cream from the glass and keep it in the refrigerator. Clean and dry the glass.
- Melt the white chocolate:
- Add the chopped white chocolate and 30 ml of cream to the glass.
- Heat for 4 minutes at 50°C, speed 2.
- If the chocolate has not melted completely, mix for a few more seconds at the same temperature.
- Cool the melted chocolate:
- Let the melted chocolate sit in the glass for 10 minutes to cool slightly.
- Mix the whipped cream with the melted chocolate:
- Add the whipped cream to the glass with the cooled melted chocolate.
- Mix gently at speed 2 for 10-15 seconds. Make sure not to overmix to maintain the fluffy texture.
- Assembly and decoration:
- Transfer the mousse to a pastry bag fitted with a star tip (optional).
- Fill the glasses or serving glasses with the mousse.
- Decorate with sprinkles or additional cream to taste.
- Repose:
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
