Preparation of BBQ RIBS in an air fryer – AIRFRYER
Prepare the marinade: In a container, mix two tablespoons of brown sugar, one tablespoon of onion powder, one tablespoon of granulated garlic and one tablespoon of sweet paprika. The quantities are approximate if we talk about small coffee-type spoons. We mix well and reserve it.
Prepare the ribs: Take the pork ribs, the Worcestershire sauce and a brush. We brush our ribs with Worcestershire sauce on both sides.
Add the marinade: After brushing with the Worcestershire sauce, we add the marinade to the ribs on both sides.
Wrap in aluminum foil: We close the ribs tightly with aluminum foil. We have split the ribs so that it fits well in the fryer basket.
Cooking in the air fryer: Place the wrapped ribs in the air fryer basket. We use the rack to place one part on top and another on the bottom. We programmed the fryer at 180 degrees for 30 minutes (although we put 25 on the display and then added 5 more minutes).
Remove the aluminum foil: After 30 minutes, we take out the ribs and open the aluminum foil. We put aluminum foil on the base of the fryer basket.
Add the barbecue sauce: Brush the ribs well with barbecue sauce. To see how to make homemade barbecue sauce, you can check out our previous video.
Cook again in the air fryer: Place the ribs back into the air fryer basket using the rack. We programmed the fryer at 180 degrees for 15 minutes (we put 12 on the display and then added 3 more minutes).
Result:
After these 15 minutes, our ribs in barbecue sauce are ready. You will see that it is a super quick and simple recipe, a great option to eat pork ribs in the air fryer. You can also make them in the oven if you prefer.
Plating:
We cut and plated so you can see how tender and well-made they turned out. Delicious!
We hope you liked the recipe. Thank you very much, as always, for making it to the end. A hug and see you soon.
