Thermomix sues Lidl for infringing its robot patent

The company that owns thermomix. The German group Vorwerk, takes the Lidl chain to court this Tuesday for “allegedly” infringing its patent by marketing its Monsieur Cuisine Connect kitchen robot, according to numerous media reports today

the Monsieur Cuisine Connect kitchen robot, which has been a success in sales, is sold at a much lower price than the thermomix, while the thermomix exceeds 1000 euros, the Lidl kitchen robot is worth 360 euros

The trial that begins now, will be in Barcelona, and will last this week

Vorwek’s (Thermomix,) lawsuit against Lidl is for considering that it “plagiarizes” its technology with similar specifications

Lidl denies that its kitchen robot infringes the Thermomix patent, also requests the invalidity of Vorwerk’s patent due to “lack of novelty, inventive activity and addition of matter”

Lidl is at stake to continue selling or not, its robot in our country
